In this role, you'll play a crucial role in determining project requirements, calculating costs, and creating comprehensive proposals for commercial roofing projects. You'll work closely with clients, sales teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and superior customer service. Take the next step in your career with us today!
What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections, including measurements and Roofscope evaluations, to obtain precise information for accurate bidding
- Review specifications and drawings provided by general contractors, consultants, etc.
- Meet and collaborate with various stakeholders such as a roof consultant, board member, or facility manager to understand project goals and requirements
- Conduct thorough research to identify the most cost-effective and high-quality materials for the job
- Create competitive bids for commercial roofing systems
- Effectively convey the extent of work, project schedules, materials, guarantees, and pricing specifics to clients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest roofing materials, practices, techniques, and industry standards to ensure superior technical expertise
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
Who you are
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Detailed oriented with the ability to interpret complex project documents
- Experience as a commercial roofing estimator or closely related field is necessary for this role
